Weather youre a knife collector or just want an EDC knife, get one. Mercator K55
This knife has an approx. 150 year history. It is quality made & there are no tool marks on the blade or the handle. The carbon steel blade is premium. Solid, traditional knife
A very well constructed knife. Secure locking mechanism and very sharp blade. The best part about it is the way it disappears in the pocket- it's so thin I don't even know it's there. It is a carbon steel blade, so it will discolor and need to be oiled from time to time to prevent rust- but the trade off with carbon steel vs. stainless is that the carbon steel can be honed to a sharper edge and will retain it's sharpness longer than stainless. Great knife for a great price!

Good so far

A great little pocket knife for general utility use. Carbon steel blade hold an edge well and easy to sharpen. Lite enough to carry in your in pocket. Length legal in all states to carry. Great old school knife can use a sharpening to get it real good. I put a clip on the lanyard bail so it hangs off it in the pocket. almost un noticeable highly recommend.theres a youtube video of the otto meser factory making them just like they did 50 years ago

lightweight and not bulky - perfect for carrying - very solid lockup
This is a high quality precision made knife and this model has a high carbon steel blade. As a knifemaker myself; the high carbon steel blade will hold a edge better than the stainless. Great folding utility knife. I have wanted one for sometime and very glad to have it . I carry it daily. It is very inexpensive and I consider it worth more than I paid for it. Good blade steel
The k55k I purchased has the carbon steel blade which holds a great edge but will need oil attention and cleaning to stay rust free. If you’re too lazy to clean your tools then stay away from carbon steel.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
