The Novation Launchpad S is a music controller that lets the programmers use the multi-colored LED states to design creative tools in Max MSP and Reaktor. Using Automap, Launchpad can function as a standard MIDI controller, letting you create custom MIDI maps with 72 buttons transmitting CC or MIDI note data. It is lightweight and portable. This music controller works with Ableton Live software. It is bus-powered, requiring a single USB connection. The Novation Launchpad S is compatible with PC, Linux PC, iPad and Mac systems. Launchpad - A Different Way To Make Music
I have been a keyboardist since I was 5, and have just recently gotten into the DJ'ing scene. The typical DJ controller is fun, but just mixing songs was not as creative as I was used to. The Launchpad allows me to really flex my creative muscle. The possibilities are truly endless. Really Good
