Great for what it is
The Generation 1 model is great for what it is, being the first generation of any new tech. While having used a Generation 2, other than the bugs with the Power Sourse, Generation 1 models are just as good, especially if you are lucky to get a refurbished model with the power source glitch removed. However, when compared to the recently released Generation 3 model, which comes in two sizes, this one is well on its way to being defunct. I would still recommend it to a beginner though, especially if you can score it on a good deal. Wish I had two of them (another as a backup).

The summum for painting, illustration, despite the weight, price and small battery life
for digital painting this is definitively the RollsRoyce of tablets !
