The Wii's Achilles heel..
I really love the concept of the Wii, and the imaginative new input devices created for it - regrettably, even the genuine Nintendo versions are very unreliable, sometimes completely refusing to link up to the Wii, and the nunchuck's connection to the Wiimote is too flimsy to withstand any action, which is, allegedly, what the Wii was meant to have been designed for in the first place. I spent £25 on a used Wii with Wiimote and Nunchuck - I've spent a lot more than that since, trying to get together a couple of working wiimotes and nunchucks - but most of the used ones, whether in shops or on eBay, are faulty. Essential for Wii U to set up
It’s a nice quality item and very functional. I bought the console separately but this is needed. The console cannot be set up without it but after you’ve done that the console can be used even though the battery of the remote has gone flat. You really don’t need it after the console is set up by using the power button on the console.
