Excellent performance keyboard
I've had this keyboard for a couple of months now, and it continues to impress me with how responsive it is and how easy it is to manipulate sounds on the fly. I had some concerns about giving up a true hammer-action keyboard for the waterfall keyboard on the Stage 2 EX 73 Compact, but it turns out to be so expressive that I have gotten used to it very quickly and I'm now completely sold on it. The keyboard action actually makes me a better player, because it responds to the slightest nuance of my playing style, allowing me to be more creative and achieve results that I didn't realize I was capable of. I haven't found anything I can't do with this keyboard, to the point that I'm considering selling the rest of my keyboards and simplifying down to this by itself. Easy to program splits and layers (heck, "program" is too complicated a term for the process - you hit a couple of buttons) make it simple to set up a patch that gives you up to three zones, with separate volume controls for each zone available at your fingertips. The Mod wheel can control just about any parameter you want, fading layers in and out, changing drawbar settings, tweaking oscillators, you name it, and again, it's redonkulously easy to set up. The manual is 60 pages long. That's it. Trading in my 60 lb. workstation for a 20 lb. workhorse turns out in retrospect to have been a no-brainer. I even take my keyboard back and forth to practice, 'cause it weighs no more than a guitar and is about the same size. Just an insane collection of sounds, edibility and realistic texture
There is zero reason to consider the new Mellotron, no need to keep your old Wurly- this is just an unbelievable workhorse of an instrument. So many completely musical sounds pre-loaded in the synth library, an even more amazing collection of free downloads from Nord's website, and downright killer organ and piano sounds built in. This will be used primarily for recording in my home studio- I have a good enough ear to assess the differences between real and synthetic instruments and can say, hands-down, this keyboard has won me over.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
