NIKON 3.5 X 14 AND MY 458 WIN.MAG.
MY GRANDSON IS AN AVID RELOADER WHO DECIDED TO USE THE ULTIMATE STRAIGHT WALL CARTRIDGE FOR OHIO DEER HUNTING. THIS SEASON HE USED HIS REMINGTON 700 SAFARI MODEL RIFLE USING A THREE HUNDRED GRAIN BULLET TO TAKE TWO DEER OUT PAST TWO HUNDRED YARDS , BOTH DEER DROPPED IN THEIR TRACKS WITH NO BLOOTSHOT MEAT WHATSOEVER. IM A SEASONED SENIOR HUNTER THAT JUST PURCHASSED A CZ 550 SAFARI GRADE IN 458 WIN.MAG. ,I LOVE THE RIFLE AND I LOVE MY NIKON PROSTAFF 5 3.5 X 14 SCOPE MOUNTED ON THE BEAST. MY GRANDSON AND I BOTH HAVE THE SAME MODEL NIKON SCOPE MOUNTED ON OUR 458 RIFLES , THE HEAVY RECOIL DOES NOT AFFECT THE SCOPE ZERO AT ANY POWER SETTING , MY SCOPE HAS THE BDC REDICAL AND MY GRANDSON HAS THE MILDOT . Went to the range
Very clear, great low light visibility. Put this on my Ruger American Predator .204Ruger and went to the range. Sighted in 3 shots and then shot five 3 shot groups at 100yds. All moa and 2 groups were less than 3/4". I am not much of a rifle shooter and this is my first and only varmint rifle but as far as I can tell, the scope is flawless.
