The last of a good thing?
I have always liked the iPad Mini. I do not want a bigger phone, and I do not like carrying a large iPad on trips, as mostly I want it to read email and books, and look at web pages. The less I can carry in weight the better. Alas, Apple seems to have dropped this line as the only mini available now is the 4, which is approaching 18 months old, with 128 GB of memory, more than most people need, and at a very high price compared to pother iPads. Seeing that 2 possible release dates have passed for an iPad Mini 5, I decided to go for the 4 just to update my aging and slowing iPad Mini 2. This is fast, up to date, an excellent screen, and with this much capacity, I put TV and movies on it for traveling as well. And it is fast enough with enough RAM to run the split screen features of the new iOS, which I also really like. If you want a Mini, this may be the last one you will find, and it does the job really well. what a tablet ought to be
probably one of the last quality Apple products that wont be making 3D maps of its surroundings (that I know of at least). The size really is perfect and reading on this looks incredibly crisp, the pixel density makes each letter and picture as clear as a magazine, only it does much, much more! Ironically, the Youtube app works smoother and better than the more expensive Samsung Tab S3 I recently sold - the tab S3 runs Android and Google is responsible for maintaining both Android and Youtube, you’d expect an Android device to run Google software more efficiently, however this is not the case. This Mini Rocks!
This was a terrific upgrade from my old iPad Mini 2! It has a healthy amount of memory, much faster and more responsive processor, and other than the well-documented deformation around the power jack, is in excellent condition and works flawlessly. Love all the new (to me) features like fingerprint open, much improved keyboard usability and the various gesture shortcuts. I bought this primarily so I could run the latest IOS as I support a wide variety of PC and Apple products and it's critical to be able to refer to one while on the phone talking a client through resolving an issue. Also, current DJI software was not compatible with my older Mini 2, so now I can enjoy a bigger screen when flying my drone. Great bang for the buck.
There are lots of these on eBay at really good prices. It seems iOS 11 really slowed them down. Remember the controversy in the news about Apple intentionally slowing down older devices?. Well these are upgradable to iOS 12.1 which makes them fast as they used to be. What a bargain. I bought a version 2 and a version 4 and after the upgrade they work very very well. Just the Right Size!
This is my second iPad mini... that's how much I love it! I retain one for my writing and word processing; the other is my "fun-pad". I am a senior citizen, so the smaller size works much better for me. I have no problem meeting my daily writing demands, but then when it's time for a break, I can easily hold the iPad mini for some game time. The full size iPad and then the 9 inch simply became to heavy for me to hold. I am very happy with my iPad Mini and would readily recommend it to anyone.

Great tablet. Using it just like a CPU
I use this tablet everyday. I am usually a Samsung kind of guy, but this ipad is worth it. It is user friendly. The ipad has great battery life and the memory is great. It is a powerful tablet. The only thing that I think could improve it is having the ability to use different types of internet systems. Great buy! Exactly as described
I was sceptical buying off eBay, it’s hard to know what you are getting online anymore. I added this iPad to my cart so I could keep track of it while I searched to possibly find a better deal, somehow I managed to check out while not knowing it. (Worth noting that I did not find a better price or deal) Panicked I checked to make sure the price didn’t change in the cart, I decided to wait for it to show up and if I was unhappy would send it back. I was delighted to find a sealed iPad box, all contents inside completely new and unused. I was able to plug it in and turn it on, quickly set it up and updated it to the newest iOS system.
