Great product for European vehicles use for remote start.
Learned a hard lesson when dealing with a 2000 BMW Z3 Roadster. I initially used (or tried to) a universal transponder bypass module. Soon realized that BMW's transponder security system/engineering uses bi-level security interface....The metal key closes the loop and the transponder is then (ONLY) activated. This means the chip can NOT be places near the ignition ring in order to activate/read the transponder chip. It seems to go through two levels of activation--once key is inserted, the loop is closed and then activates the reading of the transponder chip. With the key placed up against the ignition, the starter does NOT engage (unlike Japanese or other vehicles where this would crank the starter, but not fully start the vehicle)...ignition lights and beep, but not starter engagement. This unit is specifically designed to hard-wire the transponder circuit through the module to make the starter engage and think the key is inserted and then activate the transponder. Was disappointed with this bypass as it wouldnt allow my car to be started with the key. I had a 5706V Viper installed on my car. Problem was easily fixed by switching to a different bypass but the fact remains I bought this under the impression it would work properly and well now I have a 2 week used bypass that didn't allow proper function and lost the money..........Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

BMW x3 remote start

Didn't work for me
