ProCo Rat, or fuzz ?
Well, it is a Wampler pedal, so you know it's good quality, and with the right rig and genre, someone will really like this pedal. But, compared to Wampler Dracarys, Pinnacle Deluxe v2, and Triple Wreck I already have, this pedal sounded less like a Wampler and more like a ProCo Rat. Some might say this one sounds a bit like a fuzz pedal, with the heavy inclination to lower midrange, and loose bottom. Yes, even with bridge pup, the mids just go to lower mid. And the distortion is more grainy, compared to the smoother distortion from the other Wamplers I play. this is for the 'Overdrive' setting. And for Crunch setting, it doesn't go to lower midrange as much. Though, it just doesn't sound as full as Pinnacle at lower gain setting. On the +, the boost functions is really nice! It's about as good as the boost function on a Nau Spoonful, really doesn't color the sound much and is quite useful for Leads. Not just leads from this pedal, but boosting the lead from a Pinnacle or Dracarys; such a good boost. Right, you want to know the rig. Ok, Gibson Les Paul R58 Darkburst from 2003, with Seymoure Seth Lover pups. Marshall JTM 45 from 1966, Marshall JMP 100 from 1974 with '68 replica board.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great pedal, one small issue
It sounds amazing, and pretty much identical to my Jet City JCA5012 (which is a modified Soldano circuit anyway). Only thing is that sometimes it sags unless I use a guitar with a lot of output or run a boost in front of it (Which I do anyway).Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
