MXR FET Driver is a guitar pedal designed to produce sound modulations by applying effects such as Distortion, Overdrive. To provide the musicians with an option to control the desired aspects of their instrument's tone, this model is equipped with the following controls: Hi, Low, Level, Drive. The guitar effect pedal features 1/4-inch jack input, 1/4-inch jack output connectors and uses battery, AC adapter power supply.

Love love love this FET pedal, great push into any solid state amp!
I bought this to go into a new Electro Harmonix Dirt Road Special 1x12 combo, 40 watts, and it is Excellent at the Job! Sounds great! Really pushes the combo into a special place. It blends really well with solid state electronics. Don’t know how it is with tube a,ps, but it’s got such a special sound. Plus, it makes for the perfect pillow to add a nasty fuzz pedal too. It doubles up so perfect. Whatta a special little devil this demon is! Will be using this a LOT.

very good and versatile pedal
great distortion pedal, 3 band eq make it very veratile. Very good pedal for the price. can do mild overdrive to high gain, easy to use. not as unique as the proco rat, but more versatile.

It's good, not the best. Vintage ones are too pricey. Strong build, it's a Boss!
Not the best but it is certainly not the worst and built to last. Compact. It's a boss so you know it's a good well-built quality product. I think the CS2 has gotten grossly overpriced through the years. I would personally look elsewhere because there are so many compressors on the market.

Perfect to get tube sound with a SS amp!
I use this with a drive and compressor in front of it and it’s very very good with a wide range in front of my Marshall SS amp.
