Good product but care required in use
The product is good but instructions could be better or that is my excuse for pushing the link top plate too far on and damaging an 'O' ring. Care must be taken and check carefully as you go. The riveting part is very straightforward but keep riveter square and tighten each side a little bit at a time.

Worked ok, it's cheap, not for repeated use though.
This tool allowed me to fit my own chain and sprocket kit without having to buy the expensive DID tool (which I would buy if I was doing these often) It was a bit fiddly to use and did start to bend, it's not easy to access when fully riveted even when you follow instructions and video but main thing it did the job.

Chain riveter
Broke my friend's chinese G-shaped riveter on heavy duty JT chain, so bought this one. Good design, easy enough instructions. Good for basic diy chain and sprocket change. Some wear already on riveting head and machine bolts, but I assume it will last at least another 2-3 changes.

Simple tool easy to use
Simple tool easy to use First impressions the clamping "bolt" allen pins looked a little undersize but worked with no issues as there is no need to excessivly overtighen the tool , use a caliper to measure the spread at end of the pin and jobs a good un Recommended as above simple and easy to use

Afam chain tool
A great little tool that actually works. A fairly simple device that has been well thought out and well made with quality steel. Small enough to carry if you need it in for an emergency repair out on the trails.

Fantastic...exactly what is required.
This nice little piece of engineering does its job exceptionally well. It's robust and conveniently easy to use, perfect. This tool takes away any doubt regarding the riveting process and the termination of the completed flaring of the rivets...I would highly recommend the AFAM chain riveter.

Afam Easy Rib 5
Bought to rivet chain on my Aprilia Falco. Easy 10min job. The tool comes blister packed on a card with easy to follow instructions on the back. Only works with hollow type pins on master link. You need a large open end spanner to hold the backplate whilst tightening the two allen bolts on the front. I used a big adjustable spanner which did the trick.

Adam chain tool
Ideal if you want to rivet one chain, not sure if it will be ok to do a second one, but for twenty quid it really is a use then throw out item.

Brilliant riveter
Really wasn't looking forward to fitting my chain & sprocket kit due to riveting the new link. But with this device it's so easy and I will not worry about it again as it's so simple to use.
