Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for PSP is an enhanced remake of Japan's Castlevania X: Rondo of Blood, originally released in 1993 for the PC Engine. Players will control one of two characters, Richter Belmont and Maria Renard, while advancing through nine side-scrolling stages filled with monsters. Several levels offer branching paths leading to alternate exits, increasing the total number of playable areas to 13. While the core game design is unchanged, the PSP version features 3D graphics, new music, and added cut-scenes. As a special bonus, players can unlock the original Rondo of Blood as well as 1997's critically acclaimed Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Solid way to play two great games
This game is a remake of Rondo of Blood, and has complete versions of the original Rondo of Blood (in its first Western release) and Symphony of the Night as unlockables. This is possibly the cheapest way to get all three in physical form, as getting the Japanese version of RoB on the PC Engine is infamously expensive, and the same with SotN, which is also very rare for the original PS1. I only bought the game for the originals, and can say that Rondo of Blood is one of the best in the classic series. However, it is brutally and at times frustratingly difficult just like most Castlevania games of the era, and also quite short Symphony of the Night, however, is possibly one of my favorite games of all time and would highly recommend to anyone, but to Metroidvania fans in particular. In addition, the game has high replay value, as besides Richter being playable, Maria has also been added as a playable character (which I believe is exclusive to this version).

I love this Game 🤩
I’ve always been a big fan of the Castlevania 🏰 series and this was the closest I can get to the N64 version... Definitely Worth having in ur collection if ur a Fan of the Series 🤩
