Fun comic sketches; not a story book!
Jeffrey Brown has written some really good kids' stories around the padawan Jedi Roan Novachez character, but this series of books "Darth Vader and ..." are not story books! They contain a series one-to-two-page comedy comic sketches that follow a theme, but there's no continuous story or dialogue linking them. They are probably not as appealing to children as they are to adults who will understand the "in jokes" and references to the original Star Wars movies, which a lot of youngsters will not have seen. Good fun, but not story books for young children!
