The Saxophone Bible!
This is a fascinating book. Having always wanted to play the Tenor, but finding the mechanicals of the instrument a bit daunting, I purchased this to do a bit of research. This is well written and a must for anybody thinking of purchasing, or who has an instrument they want to learn more about. This, combined with the authors website (ebay does not want me to link, but search Steven Howard Woodwind) provides a treasure trove of information that has put me on my way to picking up my first instrument. Very highly recommended!

Invaluable, informative, entertaining
Absolutely first class book for anyone who owns or is interested saxophones. Covers just about everything an owner would wish to know in order to keep their instrument fettled and playing as it should. Even if some of the items covered may seem beyond one's skill levels to undertake personally, at least it means you will appreciate what a repairer needs to do. I thoroughly recommend this book.

A good read
If you want to know the inner workings of your sax, this is the workshop manual for you. A bit technical in places, but handy for keeping the machinery operational.
