Highly recommend this well-written book!
The author has done a great job of summarizing important people and events in World History. The significance of battles or other events is covered well, rather than just saying won a battle. The feature boxes give more interesting information about a topic or person covered in the main text. This text keeps the reader's interest because of the great writing style. It is evident that this is a subject that the author enjoys and understands history and he wants to share that excitement with his reader. The color maps help you to see where different things take place that are in the reading. Timelines are shown at the beginning of each unit to help you to better place the events.
