The handle and spool work well. I feel a slight resistance when the reel is spinning, but there is no issue with its functionality. No box, Reel only. As shown in the photo, there is a crack in the SVS unit, but it does not affect its functionality.

Simply awesome and smoooth!!!
This reel is awesome! After a couple of hours in TLC, cleaning and relubricating, I spooled it up with some 15lb test Berkley big game monofilament line tied on a 3/8oz practice weight and let er rip!!! SMOOOTH is this reel. No issues with casting breaks, bearings, or drag. Set the spool for light (minimal play) tension and set 2 of the 6 break pads. A light toss sent the practice weight over 20yds easy. Any harder and I have to ride the spool to keep it in my yard. Simply awesome!!!

Reliable and smooth
The Shimano Calcutta 200XT is one of the smoothest reels I’ve used. I now own four Calcuttas. It’s tough and reliable and will haul in large bass. I love it.

This reel works great
Shimano Calcutta makes an awesome product. Wasn’t sure if I should buy a used real or not but as bulletproof as this real is it was a bargain purchase I’ll have this real for 20 years or more
