More moisturizing and less drying than the original formulation or any of the alternative.
I used Differin a couple of times when a prescription was needed but it dried me out, made my skin peel, and made my skin very sensitive. This formulation is obviously not as potent, which makes it more suitable for me. Accutane is very effective but also very expensive... and it doesn't come without its side effects. Treats hormonal acne
The real deal, does what it says. I recommend to start gredually though. This used to be on perscription for a reason, I have used retinol befor but this is in another league. If you suffer from hormonal (menstrual or stress-related) acne give this a shot. Stick through the purge, nothing good ever comes for free. I purged with cysts and after they went away they stayed away. This product efficiently surfaced everything that was lying latent under my skin, and got rid of it. It was like a massive detox. Cleared up!
I have been using this for about a year, and it does work. It does dry your skin out if you use a lot But its still pretty much the best choice for me. Where have you been all my life??
I've suffered with cystic acne for years on and off, and I've been on every single medication and topical med there is, from erythromicin, to tetracycline, doxycycline, Retin A and topical antibiotic gels ( all of which irritated my skin beyond belief) and even Accutane at one point. I finally decided to try this new Differin gel since it became over the counter, and I am amazed. For someone who has suffered from chronic acne almost half her life this gel began to work immediately...and within a month, my deepest cysts were gone. Not only does it work to dispel the already existing blemishes, but it seems to clear my pores even better than the irritating old Retin A gel. Amazing Product
Ordered the Differin Gel, Face Wash & Moisturizer, which hace been using for a week and a half and already notice a difference! I previously had big pores, lots of blackheads... Now my pores are noticeably smaller and I am finally free of the embarrassing blackheads! Would most definitely recommend!! Works, but slowly
I have suffered from adult acne for many years. I have tried every product available over the counter and at my age, my doctor did not want to give me antibiotics. I was willing to try this and am glad I did. For me, it has not worked nearly as fast as hoped for. I have been using it for 5 months now and am seeing some real results.
