Lightweight and fun
It's a bit slower moving in the beginning but ultimately I really enjoyed watching this. The characters are all amazing and I really have a hard time picking my favorite. I loved their silly antics along with the more serious parts that kind of get your mind rolling about what it is that you would do in that situation. I really thought that the story was done well and my sister and I really enjoyed watching this. I really hope they come out with a season 2. If they do I will definitely be picking it up.

A Short, Entertaining Series
Kamigami No Asobi loosely translates into : 'Mischief of the Gods.' And rightly so. Yui is a young Japanese girl, of High School age, taken by the god Zeus to help educate other gods on the ways of humans. The other gods such as Loki, Hades, Anubis, Thor, Dionysus, etc. all have their powers rendered null and void by Zeus in order to make them more manageable while in his realm. Of course the personality clashes from a bunch of guys who once wielded tremendous powers is pretty predictable but nonethelss funny. The Cinderalla episode remains a favorite amongst my wife and three daughters. The production values of the series is very good and the animation top notch. As with most anime, the male figures are rendered very androgynous and the females with very big cutesy eyes. But it somehow works and my wife and daughters laugh at these 'girly men' gods trying to impress this young girl. The series is very short, only 12 episodes, but worth a look, especially for anime fans.
