It's nice, but not worth $40 really. Zev stuff is overpriced cause it's popular.
Yeah don't get me wrong. I like it. Just don't think it's worth the price when you can get others for $12-24 with logos laser etched. Yes this looks great though. Ads detail that is usually a bland part of the weapon. So if you have the cash, sure get it.

Good but.....
The length of the extension is perfect. The texture of the button is great but VERY rough. Installed it in about 30 seconds. When you push the button to move the mag release the travel is not as smooth as the factory release. There is more friction. I'll have to work on it a bit which is odd for Zev stuff. Usually their parts are high quality. UPDATE: Tried to put a loaded mag on the gun with this Zev extended mag release installed. Mag dropped right out. Tried another loaded mag. That one dropped right out. Tried all 12 of my mags and they all fell right back out. No matter how much pressure I used to try to get the mags to seat they just wouldn't stay in the gun. I took the mag release and spring out and they were both clean and normal. Put them back in the gun with the same result. Put the factory mag release back in and the mags seated perfectly. Ran 800 rounds with no problems. Cleaned the gun. Took the factory mag release out and reinstalled the Zev. Not one of the mags would stay in the gun.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Had to put one on my second Glock
Nice finish, just enough extension to access the release easier. Have one on both my 19 and 17, I wasn’t going to put one on my 19, but after using it with the stock I missed it. Magazines fit to tight
So I can only speak for glock 34 gen 4 after installment of the zev extended mag release all of my magazine fit really tight and I uninstalled and reinstalled making sure there was nothing wrong but still tight ! So I took it to the range and every shot I fired the magazine would fall out of the gun I could not remedy so I sent it back ... good luckBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Lousy, over priced product.

Zev does it again
I have already noticed the aluminum mag release creating much more wear on the polymer magazine. Time will tell but it looks like this will wear out your mag catch groove much faster than oem.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Makes a huge difference in your ability to manipulate the mag release with muscle memory.

G5 g19 extended mag. Release
At first glance factory O.E.M and Zev look close to same length. Once installed it was day and night. The Zev was indeed longer than O.E.M extended release.
