Just what I wanted. Very portable size with great sound. I don't need larger and louder anymore. Just simple, solid reliability with crisp sound. Good sound quality for the size, but don't expect booming bass like you would from an 8" subwoofer. You need to install the JBL One app on your phone in order to set the bass, treble and mid-range settings as the speaker comes set at "flat" and needs the above EQ tweaks to sound acceptable. Once you set the EQ settings to your liking, they remain in place even if you pair the speaker with different phones or PC's, tablets, etc..Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great, but needs a user manual, not a quick start guide.
Product is well made and durable. Sound quality to my ear is best using the 7 band EQ in the app. All other settings are muddy, but some like it that way. Lows drop off at 70 hz, but still delivers a satisfying low end, esp. for the size. I have two of these paired in stereo mode, but it took a lot of effort to pair them. JBL, if listening, you have to make this easier to do, or returns will keep coming in. These DO sound awesome when paired in stereo, so it is worth the effort. A lot of sound for a small size!

More professional sound for the buck!
Paired to my phone no problem.Great for small parties. I'll be using it again during the New Year's Eve party. Small and portable that you can take anywhere. BUY 2 JBL Charge 5's! You won't be disappointed!!
So I had the JBL Charge 2 and figured it was time to upgrade. Bought the JBL Charge 5 and was blown away by the sound quality. Read where it sounds even better in stereo, so I bought another JBL Charge 5 and man oh man!! Incredible, been telling all my friends about them. Best Speaker in the Category. Wi-fi makes it even better.
