Notes2018 release from the critically acclaimed rockers. Modern rock n' roll band Greta Van Fleet to release highly anticipated album, Anthem Of The Peaceful Army. The album includes current single "When The Curtain Falls". Greta Van Fleet recently set a record as the first band in 15 years to hit #1 airplay at Active Rock radio with two consecutive singles. Greta Van Fleet formed in 2012 in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The band was signed to Lava Records in March 2017 and a month later, they released their debut studio EP, Black Smoke Rising. A second EP From the Fires, containing the four songs from Black Smoke Rising and four new songs, was released on November 10, 2017. The band's heavy rock sound is heavily influenced by the work of Led Zeppelin although they are mostly influenced by traditional artists from blues, soul, funk and folk music.

Great Job Greta Van Fleet
as a 55 year old, I first heard Greta Van Fleet on 104.7 I heart radio, their singing and music got my attention, and I was totally interested in them because the music and singing combination sounded like Aerosmith and Led Zepplin combined. Keep up the work guys and don't change your style reguardless of what some people say. You are number one with me, I highly recommend to others to listen, Bill Taylor, Retired army

Don't let the first track fool you...
I was a bit apprehensive after listening to the first song, but the remaining 9 songs are amazing. Of course, it sounds a lot like Zep, but is that really a bad thing? Some people have complained that it is a little ballad heavy with 3 slow songs, but they are very good as well. Great first full length LP from these guys who should be around for a very long time.

Like Rock'N'Roll ? Then you'll love Greta Van Fleet !!
The band is incredible! people have been hungry for some good old style rock n roll for a long time. Like Pearl Jam sent music in a new direction in the late 80's, Greta Van Fleet will send us in a direction we've been waiting for, for a long time.

Unfortunately the crystal CD case has minimal minor cracks on front and back.. otherwise as sealed new as advertised

Some great rockin' tunes--but too many that were ballads and/or acoustic. Not my cup of tea.
Was anticipating an album full of tunes that ROCKED; just like their first cd. But there were a bunch of acoustic, and slower tempo, songs that just didn't cut it for me. I hope they revert back to full on rock, on their next project!

4.5 of 5 - A fine Album
It's like taking the very best parts of the entire Led Zeppelin catalog, the best riffs and hooks, and writing a full album around them. Greta did not reinvent the Zep wheel, but they polished it up amazingly.

Future of Rock and Roll
Greta van Fleet is no longer a Led Zeppelin cover band. Their unique sound blends the best of Rush. Led Zeppelin, and Detroit rock.
