Not Like The Classic Colorforms
Let me start by saying, I am a child of the 60s. I played with Colorforms as a kid. I even have a vintage set from 1970. My granddaughter plays with my vintage Raggedy Ann set, and loves it! It has lots of vinyl pieces appropriate for a doll house setting, and a huge play surface with closet, oven and refrigerator doors that open. Tremendous play value!
So I decided to get her a few more sets - of the new product. What a disappointment!
They say there are 40 pieces, but half of them are super small - 1/8 inch! Half the thickness of the originals, so very flimsy and difficult to handle. The play surface (3 “scenes”) is just a piece of cardboard printed on both sides and folded. It’s no bigger than 10 x10, so not a whole lot of room, and just 3 landscape images that don’t correlate with the theme of the stickers. Boring.
Waste of money, little play value. Spend the extra money and buy a vintage set. That’s what I will do now.
