Not the Makita quality we've come to expect.
Excellent ergonomics, great motor. That's the good stuff! Build quality is very poor, more like a cheap Makita knock-off than the real thing. Have a look at the angle indicators: flimsy plastic with only one mounting, worse than useless. Castings & welds are poor. The £80 screw fix own brand mitre saw I bought 7 years ago is better quality. A real disappointment & I'm a massive Makita fan.

Great Sliding Compound Mitre Saw
Its well made, mainly allow and not plastic. Precision machined parts, much more quiet than my last Saw. Well worth the price for a mains powered machine. Battery powered are really expensive, mainly the batteries. I won't be using this walking around so mains is fine. A great all round saw.
