Having support for the Wireless 802.11ac standard, it can have download speeds of up to 867 Mbps. It can support multiple antennas with up to 2 being assigned to both Bluetooth and Wifi. Don't be silly, double check your mobo...
Operator error is the only thing to blame. I mistakenly thought the board i was buying this for accepted AM2 CPU's. Upon receiving the item and taking the old CPU out i quickly realized that the board was meant for socket 939 CPUs. Hopefully I can find another old board to throw it in at some point, because the price was great and for an older chip the performance is still good enough to do most daily tasks. Perfect for any use really
I purchased this one for an old mother board i had laying around so my son and i could build him his first desktop and play his toy story game on, it worked surprisingly well. Just the ticket, great price, works flawlessly.
Installed the card in my HP Prodesk 600 G3 and it works flawlessly. Strong signal and pickup. Product came early and quickly. I would recommend this choice to others who need a M.2 NGFF Wifi Network Dual Band card. Works well as a replacement for old broadcom card in Lenovo Yoga3, however I still get poor signal which is probably an issue of this laptops antenna (or its placement). Why isn't every laptop is shipped with this?
Bought it as a replacement for my IdeaPad 700-15ISK, because the OEM module (Anatel/RTL8821AE) is clearly a piece of junk. Not just the drivers weren't good for it, it was defective, occasionally causing system suttering (!), and signal|connection drops. This Intel on the other hand, was immediately recognised by all of my installed operating systems, didn't even have to search for drivers and works like a dream. Improved Signal Reception
