Fisher Price Music Box
My son had this same type music box when he was little, 37 years ago. I bought this one for my granddaughter and both she and I just love it. Made well and looks like the vintage box. Highly recommend!

Not as good as the original.
This is slightly smaller than the original. It takes batteries (for the speakers, I presume). The on/off button on it doesn't work anymore, and for the life of me I can't figure out why they put it on there in the first place! Once the turntable is going, there's no way to turn it off, which is frustrating. The storage spot for the records not has a door n it, which in theory is nice, but when the door is open you can't get all of the records out at once. One always gets stuck and you have to shake it in order to get it free. The music sounds marginally good. It's sad that it no longer is a true music box, though. It's now electronic. We still have the original one, but it started to slow down and decided to replace it with a "new" one. I think we should have looked for a nice older one to replace it, because the older ones are still better in my eyes.

OK.
We were disappointed that there is no longer a switch to turn the unit off like the older models. Our unit came with two records the same color. This really confuses our kids. We do appreciate having the door to keep the records in when stored. We don't know if the product is durable because we haven't had it very long. Right now we would recommend it with reservations.

Purchase of record player/music box
Bought this for my 3 year old grand daughter. She enjoyed the records and easily turned the dial. I was happy to see Fischer Price bring back a toy that wasn't a computer screen.

Music is love for babies
Excellent toy for little babies to toddlers alike. Mom plays it for the baby and when the child is a little older he or she will play it for themselves. Can't beat Fisher Price. Wish it was made in Canada.

Great Surprise!
The Fisher Price Music/Record Player is just as described- great condition and works perfectly! The Little People School House is fantastic and my granddaughter loves playing with it.

Great toy.
I haven’t played it yet as it’s for a birthday gift for a grandchild but I remember these when our children were little. Such a good toy and fisher Price are renowned for sturdiness of their products.

Great gift
