The Arduino MKR WiFi 1010 is an excellent board for IoT projects, offering built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Its compact size and energy efficiency make it ideal for battery-powered applications. Easy to set up and versatile, it’s perfect for both beginners and experienced developers. I use it with the MKR Therm Shield for communicating with an MQTT server, sending data to an InfluxDB database, and visualizing it in Grafana via Telegraf. I fixed the flawed official MKR Therm Shield library to accurately measure cryogenic temperatures.
