Great product.
Bought to replace another one we had for years, and had seen better days. We were always happy with the original, and we are just as happy with this one. Great product, very easy to use and we are sure it will last for years as the other one did.

Best to opener out of several already tried
The problem is that a tin opener is not a thing of beauty or a necessity in the time we live in, what with pull ring topped cans in abundance containing everything from mushy peas to baked beans. However when it comes to tins of salmon and fray bentos pies they come in to their own! Most of the ones I've tried have been to put it mildly rubbish. Either they start the opening process and give up or they nearly break your hand with the pressure required to open the can! Every one of the half a dozen purchased was returned and my trusty old one was recommissioned! The OXO Good Grips is just brilliant and makes light work of even the toughest cans. Very pleased with it and it is extremely easy to use requiring little effort from the user.

Will even open Fray Bentos tins
Although I purchased this much cheaper, I was amazed how tough and strong it was. The handle is so easy to grip and opens cans like a knife through butter (honestly). The main test was opening the Fray Bentos pie tins that used to cut my hands to shreds. This cut through it so easily it was a joy and we have now started to buy more pies again. A great product and worth the price quoted today.

Easy to grip
As with all Goodgrips items I find this easy to use. I have arthritis in my hands and using a normal can opener is very difficult. The battery ones tend to work when they feel like it or are very slow, but this one is excellent. The only complaint I would have is that the edges it leaves are very sharp but then you expect this when opening cans!

Another great OXO Good Grips product!
These are solid, easy to grip, easy to operate and just glide through the tin. We have several Good Grips products and this is a great addition to the collection. Worth every penny.

It does what it says on the tin!
Used the OXO Can Opener for the first time yesterday on a can that I couldn't open with my old can opener, that is now in the bin, and it worked perfectly. And it is of good quality and very easy to use with the large handle.

Finally a great can opener!
We've bought several can openers in recent years from the cheapest to more expensive ones and now none of them work. We were exasperated to find one that opens cans easily and I've loved Oxo Good Grips so I thought let's try the can opener. Yes, it's a bit pricey for a simple kitchen tool but it works and probably will work forever!

Oxo Good Grips can opener - Best opener I have ever owned.
The Oxo Good Grips soft handled can opener is the best can opener I have ever had. I always have bought cheap can openers in the past and they never open the can with any success for me at least but the Oxo Good Grips just breezes through all of the cans that I have tried it on. It grips the can as it spins round and cuts through the tin lid very easily unlike any other that I have owned so I would recommend this can opener with no hesitation what so ever.

Looks good quality. Hope it lasts
Nice soft comfortable handles. Easy to open tins without much force. These tin openers were recommended by Fray Bentos to open their pie tins. I have thrown a number of supermarket own brand ones away after a year or so after they broke. I hope this one lasts longer.
