Great printer and great deal
Okay so all you afraid of open box don't be. Get this little guy,power it up, insert the memory card that comes with it and hit the button beside the mem card slot. If it prints the first few layers correct then you have a working printer. If you experience problems running your own Gcode files then check your settings. First find a delta printer in Cura if the Mp Mini delta isnt listed in your printers. Change your bed size to 110,110,120 eliptical heated bed start in the center. Then in your printer setting you need the correct Gcode text. Go to the MpMiniDelta Wiki page and scroll down on the left. You will see the start and stop Gcode link. Copy the start text and pase it into your Cura settings for thia printer. Then do the same with the stop text. Save your stuff and you can now print successfully. Good luck and if your having troubles is probably your settings. And i suggest a upgraded to 10amp power supply

DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED - FIRE RISK
Last night my delta 3 started smoking. I had left it in the other room because it is loud, and I noticed a faint smell of hot plastic. Not a problem, when the smell started to intensify I went to check on the printer where the nozzle was sitting about 2 inches from the build plate smoking. The LCD read that the temp was at 350c. I ripped the power plug from the wall and went to find my IR temperature sensor and open a few windows (in Colorado that night it was -13 c). When I checked its temperature after a few minutes of being turned off the nozzle was reading at 360c. I think it was close to 400c when I first turned it off. I am glad that this happened just before I went to bed, as I was going to leave the printer unattended over night. My suggestion is do not leave your printer unattended. However for the 10 prints I got before it decided to melt down it was easy to use and produced good enough quality parts. I would suggest this printer to anyone who wants an easy cheap printer to use, as long as you do not mind the occasional fire.

Best delta printer for the price
This printer is great for the price. Like all products trying to sell something at a competitive price you get certain trade-offs. You get auto leveling but no power button so utilizing a power strip is recommended. You may or may not get the instructions and or other accessories all 4 that I've ordered included the power cord minimum. All and all monoprice is a great company there's a large community behind them and for the price you can buy 2 of these printers for the cost of 1 printer from most other brands. Highly recommend.

My first 3D printer.
I purchased this printer because I wanted to get into 3D printing. I like the look and metal construction. I also like options for how to connect to the printer. I am so glad that I chose this printer. Within the fist hour of receiving the box I was up and printing my own ideas. I love it and use it all the time.

Surprising rugged, fun, and accurate little printer
This little Delta style 3D printer is great fun. It can be carried around with one hand, takes up about one square foot of space, and is ruggedly built and produces really good prints. As with any inexpensive printer it has its quirks, but it printed well out of the box and there is a huge, online community of avid fans who have done tutorials and demos to answer most of the questions a new user would ask. The build space is small at 4x4x5” but it is great for trying out small design ideas and for introducing kids to 3D printing.

Great beginner 3D printer
Easy to setup and use. Lots of information on the web. Stay away from SDHC microSd cards. Doesn't take up much room.

Very good
You just need to find the right micro SD card that will work. Two of mine didn't work only the one that came with it did. I just wanted one that had more than 2GB.
