GREAT WAY TO FRY FOODS WITHOUT ANY OILS, FAT, OR GREASE.
Easy to use, easy to clean. Have fried several types of potatoes, onion rings, fish, and cooked vegetables all very quickly, cleanly, and without any of the added calories, fat, or cholesterol involved with oil frying. Perfectly refurbished, delicious cooking results
Lots of friends had gotten air fryers and loved them, but I remained a skeptic. Refurbished seemed a great way to go, so I gave it a try. I knew the dimensions of the Philips Avance when making the purchase, and the fact that its size is 'XL' should've been a good hint, but somehow it still seemed larger when it arrived. (It was exactly as described, just my brain playing tricks. See the picture for the size relative to a KitchenAid Pro stand mixer.) The refurbishment was perfect--it seems like new--and I immediately washed and dried the cooking trays and made crispy broccoli. The Avance is super simple to use, heats up and cooks quickly, and cleans up easily. A cookbook is included, but I've mostly been asking friends for recipes or just experimenting, and have used it almost every day. Everything that comes out of it has been delicious. For me that's been veggies, but the cookbook also includes instructions for steaks, chicken wings, fish sticks, etc., as well as recipes for meatballs, spring rolls, croquettes, frittatas, fish steaks/nuggets, and even some desserts. A great buy!

Great air fryer

Perfect countertop appliance!
