Finders Keepers Is A Keeper
In my opinion, this is the best of the series. It could easily be a stand alone, but it is part of that mini universe. If you choose to read it as a stand-alone novel, simply read the synopses of the others one prior then three after the second. The first novel is more of a detective- murder- mystery novel, while the third goes into psychicism -- which I think is simply a cheap way out. I have nothing against telekinesis or the ability to mind read (as 'The Institute' is a wonderful book which I would recommend), but It didn't suit me in the trilogy. Good stuff from S. King
