Favorite All-time Political Drama
My family are big fans of this series, having seen it on LA station KCET-TV a few years ago. It's probably the best political drama I've ever seen, very much like West Wing or even Veep, but better! Great acting, compelling characters and an excellent driving theme of the intersection of media and politics as well as an examination of the toll professional politics takes on one's family. You do have to pay close attention because it's in Danish with English subtitles. It took us a couple of viewings when it was on TV before we fully understood all the characters and relationships, but Borgen is well worth that investment. There is quite a bit of English spoken in season 3 due to the introduction of some key British characters, which was nice for us!

Borgen review
I very much enjoyed the acting and quality of story.. the characters are real and engaging. A very well written script.. I enjoy hearing foreign films with subtitles..

Fascinating Look at Danish Politics & News
This limited three year series captured my attention immediately and kept it all the way to the end. I recommend it highly

A true hit!
Memorizing look at Danish politics, but it could be anywhere! The characters are engaging, and the villains very "jeer worthy"! I can hardly wait for season 4....

High tension drama
Funny that I have to go to the US to bye a Danish series. It is impossible to get it in Denmark. Thou I am Disappointed that can't turn off the tekst.
