There's some adventure taking place underground as the Boxtrolls scuttle around to survive the schemes of exterminator Archibald Snatcher. Eggs, an orphaned boy adopted by the Boxtrolls, is the only hope of saving the trolls. The trolls themselves are raiding the people and children who live above ground, as they are the creators of the very cheeses the trolls covet. This adventure-driven movie has a run time of 1 hour and 37 minutes. There is many twists and turns throughout the movie that will only have viewers falling further in love with the pesky Boxtrolls and their adopted boy.

Strangest Film
It is so weird that it is enjoyable. My 6 year old son loves it, his grandparents don’t love it. I am amazed and impressed with the claymation and set design. This is an odd movie but the story is lovable as the Boxtrolls themselves are just as endearing.

It is a creative masterpiece. The story is well developed as are the characters. It is a movie to be enjoyed repeatedly. I feel it is a must to any video library.

Great movie for all ages
Super cute movie about small child raised by trolls, who wear boxes as clothing and call each other by the names on their box. It’s mix between clay and cartoon animation.
