Excellent idea, even better price.
I bought these after recently buying the 500Av non passthrough versions. I was so confident that these were as easy to set up I asked my 11 year old to do it as it was her laptop that I wanted to get off the WIFI. She was up and running in 5 minutes, just press the setup button once on the nearest unit, then press the button on the new receiver, wait 1-2 minutes, all lights lit, plug in the ethernet cable, turn off WIFI, done. Old model but works fine
I wanted an older style TP-Link mains/network adaptor that I could use with hard wired Cat5 cable with RJ45 network plugs. This was perfect for me and I set it up with the rest of my network very quickly and the PC had access to the broadband network straight away. Well worth the money.
I wasn't sure about power line adaptors, but due to a WiFi blackspot I bought these. They are superb! They work well and have significantly increased the connection speed on one desktop device and due to having two ethernet ports, I can plug a second device in although I haven't tried it yet. Does what it says.
Does what it says and does it well. I would have preferred the network connections to be underneath instead of on top, the cables would have been less noticable. It is quite thick, but that is probably necessary to allow space for the pass through socket which is very useful. Great Home Network Tool
I have 4 of these plugs in my home. I use them to transfer data, films and internet all over my house with no need for expensive Ethernet cable installations. Good product.Not always the complete answer,but sometimes the only way.
Only really valid con is the really small leds to see what`s happening when setting up. As long as you realise that you will often get only 5 or 10% of the speed of running a direct ethernet cable from the hub. Depends on the mains wiring. Stunningly good.
Stunningly good. These just plug in and work. I connected my BT hub to the TP Link and plugged the link in to the extension lead. I then plugged a TP Link into my living room and connected it to a wireless extender and now I get a great signal in the garden. Gaming and Stream Issues
I've been using my XBox One and DVD on WiFi. I have always had issues with online gaming and with using Amazon Prime through my DVD. I already had a TP Link adapter in place for my PC which is upstairs. Adding another adaptor was so easy, literally plug and play. I connected my DVD and Xbox to the new adaptor and the difference was amazing. No streaming issues on the DVD, I watched Amazon Prime content with absolutely no issues, first time ever. Similarly, on the Xbox One I played Player Unknown Battle Ground with no issues whereas in the past I've given up on some games due to disconnects etc. This is, for me, a no brainer, well worth the money to have the service like I'd hoped for.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Generalüberholt
