A practical kit for an excellent price!
Originally released in this form in 1971 it's not the most modern kit on the market, nor does it have all the bells and whistles of post-2000 tooled kits, but it's still a reasonably accurate depiction of the Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. F/G. It's price is one of it's major selling points with being half of the price of the 2009 tooled Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. C. If you're looking for a kit that will reasonably depict the type this kit is a great bargain. It's vinyl tracks are easy to fit to the kit, assembly is pretty straightforward and doesn't require any advanced building techniques. On the other hand, if you're looking for greater detail, you might want to pay the extra price for the newer tooled kit as it uses new tooling technology to provide a hollow one piece slide molded cannon & machine-gun barrel, photo etched brass parts to depict finer details, some interior detail for mounting hatches open and plastic tracks that portray the actual weight on their guide wheels when assembled. Both the new and old mold kits can be purchased as a kit with figures included; 5 included with this older tooled kit while the newer tooled kit only includes 4. It should be mentioned that neither kit mentioned here are to be interpreted as toys though this older kit does allow the road wheels, sprockets, idler wheel and tracks to move. Both kits permit the for the turret to turn and elevate or depress it's mantlet upon which their armaments are mounted.

Nice model kit with grat detail for the scale.
Been looking for this awhile now. Glad I found it. Being not durable is a product characteristic, not a negative comment. Detail is great and added figures are a bonus!

Good old kit
Kit's old, but don't let the age fool you. It's an easy build, the plastic not bad at all. The low price makes it a good starter kit, but also a good kit for experimenting with techniques for adavance builders. Highly recommend this!

Awesome detail
This is an excellent item. It was a kit built by hand. The paint and detail is extraordinary. there a couple small spots but the detail he put in is almost as good a Forces of Valor! Great price. It is light and fragile but it was packed very well. I'm very happy with this item

This is one of the earliest kit I made as a youngster looking forward to making it again.
