The Drugstore Cowboy
This is a movie about addiction, relationships, the road the recovery and the obstacles in the way. Matt Dillion stars are a small time hood sometime in the seventies. Along with his close knit gang they knock over pharmacies and rip off drugs dealers to get their fix. They get shaken down by police and face a litany of issues related to their drug use and criminal activity. Ultimately that along with superstition broken the gang breaks up and the uphill battle for recovery proves to be a long one. This is more of a film than a movie in sharp contrast to movies such as Blow and Trainspotting but the plot is done in very much the same vein. Matt Dillion and his supporting cast offer great acting performances in a story worth telling.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Good acting and narrative. Great direction. Good characters. Moves along. Nicely.
