Lightweight and easy to use.
I am so glad I bought this steamer. Its super easy to use just pop your veg in add the water and turn the timer on. its a very lightweight item which is great for me as i have chronic pain . very easy to clean just a rinse under a hot tap. the veg come out perfectly no soggy broccoli , carrots taste amazing and potatoes cook beautifully. the reservoir where you pour your boiling water to initiate the steaming process also then can be used in gravy or into the stew so no wastage of vitamins. Havent tried rice or meat yet but I dont see there being any problems as long as you check the timings in the booklet that comes with.I would recommend this !00% .

Good purchase
You have to remember what you have, here. The plastic containers are thin, transparent plastic and quite obviously, if mishandled, they are going to break, scratch, fracture, etc. Having said that, the whole thing is very light and easy to move around, so good for people who can't deal with heavy pots. You do need to wear a pair of oven mitts to handle them when they're hot. Frozen items take twice the time to cook - i.e. frozen veg. However, it does cook things much more nicely than traditional boiling in a pan. Better taste. I like it. Its a nice tool, doesn't take much space, is easy to clean. Not too expensive, I think, either.

Salter steamer lightweight and food can be tasted more good quality would recommend it .
Salter steamer very easy to use put away and store this steamer letsyou taste your food differently and more tasteful love it

Assembly puzzle
I got this for my mam who is 87, there are too many separate items with no clear way of knowing how to assemble the compartments. I would go for something simpler if person is struggling with assembly skills.It works ok once put together and does the vegetables nicely.

Great item for the kitchen.
I have owned one for a couple of years and it really is easy to use. I bought this one as back up in case my current one developed any problems as I really didn't one to be without one.

Salter Steamer
This steamer is so easy to use, takes the hassle out of preparing vegetables and much more for the table, it is lightweight, easy to assemble, so for me I could not have chosen better, would highly recommend
