Ugh!!!
It could just be the way I installed it but who knows 🤷. I have had other gates before and still have one of them. I spent more money on those. One of the more expensive ones I bought is also from Regalo ( love this one). Anyway, the problem I am having with this one is the constant readjusting to get it to close. I might not be the best at putting things together, but I didn't have a problem with the more expensive gates so I guess you get what you pay for. It was also a pain putting it together. I bought this to keep my 3 year autistic son from escaping after he got out of my apartment. That was scary!!! I didn't care that it's meant for stairs. Wasn't planning on needing to buy another gate so I didn't want to spend that much. Big mistake 🤦. Oh and I was in such a rush to buy a gate that I didn't noticed that this one doesn't have the pressure mount option. Like I said, I bought this for the doorway to get in and out of my apartment and my doorway is metal. I don't have a power drill so I had to use my more expensive gate for the doorway and use this gate for my living room. It's a pain. My kids hate it. Every time they have to close it all I hear is, "I HATE THIS GATE"! Do yourself a favor and just buy a more expensive one to save you the headache. If you can't afford a more expensive gate, this one is okay. It does the job, but you might have to keep readjusting it so it closes.

Wider gate works well
Well made and easy to install but you do need to put holes in the wall. I do wish gate swung both ways

Highly Recommend this gate.
Very sturdy. It was easy to install. Has held up against a strong 3-year-old and determined Schnauzer.

can't install gate , it will cause a obstruction in walk way; causing a safety hazard
Baby gate is the wrong gate for this application
