Great addition to Catan
This is a great expansion of an already great game. It gives you many more scenarios to play out. Each game can last between 1-2 hours as you rush to be the first to explore different areas and collect differant resources. The addition to boats in this seafarers expantion adds another dynamic to the game. It now contains a pirate as well as a robber and extra point for being the first to reach new islands. It has keep my family of four entertained throughout lockdown.

Makes Settlers of Catan even more enjoyable to play!
Quality materials have again been used to make the pieces tough enough to endure regular playing. The rules booklet is clear with plenty of examples of how to incorporate the expansion kit into the original main game. Although you are expanding the game, the time it takes to play is not really changed. We were so enjoying the concept of sailing, and Fog islands, that the first time we played we actually hadn't realised that one of us had reached the winning number of victory points already! The board does take up a bit more of the table surface, and the cost is a factor, but if you love the original Settlers game you will really enjoy the Seafarers expansion too, it's worth it.

Cracking expansion for Catan
Catan has been a favourite with our family for years and we were so ready for this expansion. Don't be fooled by the "Play in 60" strapline, it's much better than that, games can go on for 3+hours! Such entertainment. I believe the base game plus this expansion is how the creator wanted the original game to be, and it is brilliant. In short, if you have the base Catan game then this is an absolute must, you will not regret it.

Boxed game
My family adores Catan so we needed an extension and this was the best priced. Good delivery. Not opened it to play yet but I'm sure all will be fine.

Great expansion
Really fun to play, it add more possibilities to the game without making it too long. I would strongly recommend this one to those who don't have any expansions yet since it is not too complicated so it makes a perfect first expansion
