This seal worked a treat and now my Thetford is sorted for another few years! Put some nitrile gloves on, start to pry out the old seal with a screwdriver or equivalent, and, taking note of which way up the seal should be from the old seal, push the new seal in. gradually push the seal in all the way round - use a blunt tool to make it sit in the groove. Gently embed the seal all the way around. Slide the tray in and out a few times, and at the same time clean it and make sure it's working smoothly.

Perfect! Genuine seal for my Thetford 165. The old one came out with a bit of persuasion and this new one pushed in easy. Nice, secure seal once again

Where's the instructions?
Product is what I need but lacks fitting instructions, which are obtainable online. Not helpful on a narrowboat in the middle of nowhere.

The old one was difficult to remove but ...
The old one was difficult to remove but two pairs of pliers did the trick. The new replacement is a perfect fit and looks identical to the one it replaced
