Poor quality thermostat.
Installed new product and it worked for a few days. Within 2 weeks dryer stopped heating. The element is still good but the thermostat was bad. Had to replace with genuine whirlpool replacements from local dealer which was more than double the cost I paid for the whole set. Dryer temperature switch set.
These dryer thermostat/high limit switches are exact OEM replacements. Hopefully I can get another 20 years from them as the ones they replaced were original to the dryer.
