Worth the Kleenex
This is an excellent, heartfelt drama about the early years of the Gay Men's Health Crisis. The cast is strong. All the actors turned in really good performances. The production values are very good. It is presented from HBO films. One of its executive producers was Brad Pitt. The screenplay is by Larry Kramer based upon his play of the same name. It is well worth seeing. But be prepared. I had to bring a box of tissues while watching. There are many heart wrenching scenes in the film. I thought it was worth all the Kleenex.
