Plastic but solid, works well, slippage problem solved
Made of plastic but for me perfectly suitable for the job. Many complain of the problem of slippage and yes you do need to find a way of keeping them still on whatever floor surface you have. I have carpet. After various attempts at using strips of wood and similar ideas, from somewhere in my brain I thought of using speaker stand spikes. These are usually threaded spikes, sizes vary, but I had some with about 5mm diameter. I just placed four of them, one into each of the four holes on the pedals furthest from my seated position. They pierce our carpet wherever I place the pedals and and that is the job done. They are easy to pick up and move to get your best location, but once in position do not budge.
