Low launch, low spin clubhead
Even when set at 11.5 degrees, drives are low launching, with reduced spin, resulting in a low, boring ball flight with lots of run. Not as forgiving as the Callaway XR 16, probably for the lower handicap golfer with faster club head speed. In my opinion, requires club head speed above 90mphfor optimal play but when struck squarely will increase driving distance by 5 to 8 years. Solid feel on well struck shots but poorly struck shots will move low and right.. Recommended for a 10 or lower handicap player. My friend, who plays to an 8 handicap can really make the club head perform. Really like the adjustability as well as the option to modify the weight in the back port to enhance performance. If you use this club head would recommend back/counter weighting the club to enhance feel and responsiveness and increase forgiveness.
