Don't buy it's rubish
I left positive feedback, as the item arrived quickly. However I had not tried it. Now I have tried it and it is a load of rubbish. It does not connect to my tablet correctly sound still comes out of the tablet and not the headphones and one of the headphone ports doesn't connect correctly either. I wanted this to go on holiday tomorrow, so am really disappointed. Avoid at all costs, glad it was only cheap.

Budget product works well
I have now been using this splitter regularly for months without any problem. It's robust and does its job well.

Stereo jack plug for extension speakers
The product worked perfectly well in the Audio out TV socket. Great little device and allows for head phones also. Only problem was not with the jack plug but with the TV. Sound control via remote was not possible.

Didn't work as it should have
Clearly the design is slightly off as it only worked out of one ear channel unless you adjusted it in such a way and held it in place. It seems one of the dimensions of the adaptor is slightly off leading to this, overall not recommended even for the cheap price.

A little trick but good
It is incredibly hard to get your earphones into the adapter but after that it works as it should.
