Excellent Product that works and looks great - Why Pay More ??
I'm attached to a Hifi forum and have been seriously into hifi for a few decades now. Soundcare Superspikes were recommended to me by members on the forum. The effect of fitting them and decoupling the speakers from my suspended wooden floor was a better defined and more tuneful bass and better focus overall. They also compliment the appearance of your floor standers in a classy and understated way without drawing attention to themselves in my vew, the way some rather expensive, exotic, boutique, hifi jewelry options do. These are great ! I'm on to my secoond set. First set I ever acquired for my then Missions were M6 fit. My current Spendors required M8 fit. Perfect Solution Speakers on Tile and Wood Floors!
Bought these to replace existing spikes on my Linn Kaber composite stone speaker bases. I have a part wood and part tile floor in my current listening area, so the original spikes were not suitable. These replaced the original spikes, preserving the single point isolation principle while at the same time providing the ideal contact method to the wood and tile flooring. Provided an immediate uplift to performance in terms of a more solid imaging and, to my ears, an improvement in the depth of the soundstage. You could argue that they are a little on the pricey side for what they are, but they are an excellent design, very well made and come with a slimline adjusting spanner which was very handy!
