Download the driver from Yamaha website and install it on my PC. It pays to buy the right tool in the first place.
I acquired a used Yamaha PSR-320 keyboard (an old model) and connected it to my computer with a generic MIDI cable ($5). The notes and sounds were all wrong when recording MIDI with Music Creator. Random notes popped up. The Yamaha UX-16 fixed the problem and now the notes are recorded as I play them . Great build quality
This a great Midi cable, with great build quality and very low input lag. There are other options but my yamaha keyboard recommended this midi cable and so far i am very satisfied. The drivers are available at the Yamaha website, very easy to install.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

This midi interface is awesome
If someone tells you that this interface is bad they are wrong. Works perfectly with any keyboard, either be yamaha or other brand. Good quality cable
The product is good. I just don't get why when I use this, as I've been told in the piano owner's manual (Clavinova clp-320) and plug it directly into my computer, the sound that ends up being recorded is really low quality.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Works great!
Plugged it in to my keyboard and laptop. Nothing! Then I remembered, in the odd world of Midi communications, the plug labeled Midi Out goes into the Midi In port on the keyboard and Vice versa. Didn't work for me
