This book is an update of its 1979 version so that more recent research into the properties of hallucinogenic plants could be included. This is a comprehensive presentation of various topics related to these plants-- how long people have used them; how, where and why they used them; photographs of the plants; the names they go by; their context and purpose and their chemical components and effects.
