Old Model Works Better Than The Newer Models!
This is a nice compromise between small cheap sharpeners and large heavy-duty models for the whole office. Makes sharp points but not too sharp. Well-built durable feel. I went out of my way to find this 50 year old model because I remember how well it worked at college when folks really used a lot of wooden pencils. It is another example of where the old stuff seems to work better than the newer models.

Vintage sharpener
Tired of dull pencils? Tired of paying big money for electric sharpeners that leave you with a dull nub? Go vintage made in Japan. These things will sharpen through nuclear war! A cool light goes on when the point is sharp enough to draw blood. So happy to finally have sharp pencils again!

Well made with a retro look
Well-made from back in the day when people regularly used (and sharpened) pencils. I like the retro look too.
