A beautiful book but unfortunately the plastic case got broken long ago. The book has suffered a bit from house moving. There is a bit of damage to the top of the spine and the gilding on the edges is marked. The inside is immaculate. All my books are wrapped in cardboard and bagged for delivery as books can get damaged when they drop from your letterbox to the floor. ( this one however is far too thick to fit through your letterbox and weighs Almost 1450g!)

"Versailles": the book that makes you want to be there.
Amazing value (for the price I bought it on eBay). If you've been to Versailles, or loved the TV series, or just have a general interest of the place and the history, you would be very happy to own this substantial book. It is kept in a clear, hard plastic sleeve, which protects it from dust. The book contains page after page of fantastic photographs of the interior, including the artworks contained within, and the gardens, including the fountains and sculptures.
