Platoon Review.
As a Vietnam veteran I could identify with much of the movie having been involved in similar battles as portrayed in the movie. I brought back happy memories of the camaraderie I had with fellow grunts, and sad memories of friends lost during battle. If anyone wants to really know what it was like in Vietnam from a soldiers point of view, this movie will take you there. Lots of realistic fighting scenes. If you like fighting warriors, then you'll like this movie. It sold at a great price. Reality of war !

"Are the characters engaging?"
This film should be required viewing for each and every young lad and lass during their junior year of high school. EACH and EVERY! They need to know there is nothing glamorous when it comes to war.
